Chiara, we couldn’t have done this without you. Literally… if we had to try, it would have been delayed for another six years haha.
Our wedding was no small feat, probably much more ambitious than other weddings with 30 guests! You were the exact guiding light that we needed to pull this off; helping us adjust our plans when necessary and somehow pulling off what no one else could… like stopping the rain for us. We never would have known the clouds would clear without Marco’s fancy weather app. That is just one example of how you and your team were ready for anything.
The wedding was perfect. Even the things that weren’t perfect… they were perfect.
Without you, we would have canceled the wedding or delayed it for another six years ha. I have, and I know our guests have, so many incredible, life lasting memories because of you. Chiara, you are the fairy godmother of wedding planners. Sometimes I think back to the wedding and have a brief moment of ‘how the hell did we pull that off’ and then I remember ‘Chiara’, that’s how.
When we started this crazy planning-a-destination-wedding-in-9-months-journey, I only knew three things for certain: It had to be Italy, Fin had to be there, and you would be our wedding planner. I just knew in my gut that the three of us could make magic together before we ever even met. And we did.
I can’t think of a better word to describe it all other than magic.
Every step of the way you had our backs and guided us with kindness, grace, and warmth like only you can. You made every choice clear and easy and you understood just how to make every one of our dreams come true right from the start. You understood what mattered, bringing together our family and friends in our favorite place, and along the way you became our family and our friend too. You took an ‘event’ and you created memories that will last forever.
There is no better team than yours, turning a morning of rain and tears into absolute magic took my breath away. It was better than plan A, and you executed with such grace and thoughtfulness. The people you introduced us to from Daniele, to Andrea and Marco, Sara, and (obviously) Mimmo are also dream makers and we’re so grateful you brought them into our circle.
No one could have worked harder or put in more love and care than you. Behind every detail and wish we had, you made it happen. Behind every problem or pre-problem, you were there solving it.
And behind every smile and laugh, you made it possible. There would be no wedding without you.
We are so lucky not only that you planned our dream wedding, but to have you in our lives forever. You are one of our favorite people in the whole world, we love you forever and I can’t wait until our paths cross again next.

When we finally arrived in Italy for our wedding, Chiara was there and it was so special to meet her. When we chose Rome for our destination wedding, suddenly planning it in another country seemed daunting, however, our experience with Chiara was amazing. From our first conversation, she made us feel comfortable and confident that we were in the best hands. I discovered my wedding planner, Chiara Borkus, through Fontanelle Estate, a beautiful hotel where I had stayed in 2019. At that time, I knew it would be the perfect wedding venue for me and my husband (we were just boyfriend and girlfriend back then). Trusting the hotel’s recommendation, I contacted Chiara to set up a discovery call. I was immediately impressed by her experience and attitude.
Chiara’s passion for elaborate wedding planning, design, and execution shone through from the beginning. After our initial call, we signed a working contract and began planning in earnest. With 1.5 years before our wedding date, we had ample time to brainstorm and get creative. Chiara’s methodical approach ensured everything was handled smoothly. We started by securing the venue for our wedding date, followed by selecting a photographer, videographer, and other vendors in a well-organized sequence.
Chiara provided us with numerous options within various price ranges for each category of vendors. Approximately a year before our wedding weekend, I visited the venue for an “inspection” day. This visit was incredibly productive; we reviewed where each event would take place, walked through the venue, met the hotel staff, and even visited a charming shop to select wedding china and décor. The day was well-organized and highly efficient.As the wedding day approached, Chiara and I had bi-weekly, one-hour calls to review contracts, get feedback on vendors, explore creative visions, and more. These meetings became weekly when we were eight weeks away from the wedding weekend to finalize the last details. Throughout the planning process, Chiara’s professionalism and dedication were evident. I had a positive experience and look back on the planning process with fond memories.
The wedding weekend (September 2023) was nothing short of exceptional. Having someone I trusted to run the show allowed me to sit back, relax, and truly enjoy the experience. Chiara executed everything flawlessly (with her team of assistants and vendors), ensuring all the events proceeded smoothly. Not once was I bothered with any issues,thanks to Chiara’s impeccable management and attention to detail. Thank you Chiara! Chiara helped us to realize our dream of a tuscan wedding in the most amazing way. From a idea to narrowing down locations that all suited our wishes and helping us to find that one place we were looking for that gave that special feeling from the first moment you walk into it!
After this she guided us through the whole proces of planning, all aspects of the wedding that you need to take care of, guest informations etc.
But most importantly she Always gave us the feeling it was under control and the feeling that we were just planning this with a friend even only after a few meetings.
During the wedding weekend she made sure we did not have a care in the world and that we could just focus on our celebration together with our dearest friends and family. When we were exploring the idea of planning our wedding in Italy, a country which neither of us had ever traveled to, we were in need of an expert. Finding Chiara was such a blessing to us as a couple. Not only is she an expert in planning weddings with couples from across the world, but she is kind, patient, professional and someone who pours their heart and soul into their work.
Chiara’s dedication to us as a couple made us feel so special and confident that our wedding would be the dream we hoped for. Chiara took the time to get to know us as individuals, and as a couple, she listened and understood what we envisioned for our dream wedding, and shared feedback and ideas to ensure the day included aspects of Italian culture. She made us feel as if we were the only couple she was working with across the whole process and week of our wedding. At the end of our week and wedding day with Chiara, we left wishing we had more time with her. Not only did she give us a day and an experience that we will cherish forever, but she also became a part of our family. We will ALWAYS make an effort to see Chiara whenever we find ourselves back in Italy!

Chiara was a consummate professional – she helped us plan the destination wedding of our dreams. Everything went seamlessly. It’s stressful to plan an international wedding given the red tape of local requirements, foreign language, etc – start early and Chiara will guide you and make it as stress free as possible.
She was critical to our wedding’s success, and even after the glitter faded she helped us w an issue w our videographer even though she didn’t have to – that’s the kind of person she is.
We loved our photographer, but also know that Chiara only recommends vendors she trusts so I don’t think you can go wrong. Chiara also provides different options to suit your budget.
I still consider her a good friend to this day, and fondly look back on memories of our wedding, which wouldn’t have been possible without her.

We are taking this time to write this letter to you about the experience we had with you as our Wedding Planner for our Beautiful Wedding in Tuscany, Italy, on October the seventh, 2024.
As standard practise, we would like to begin by thanking you for being with us on our special day and for making us along with our family and friends feel so welcome, comfortable and relaxed throughout both days of celebrations we had.
I can remember my family members having some worries in the lead up to travelling and our response to them was “Chiara knows what she is doing”. This, we were certain of!
From contacting you via zoom, over two years previous, to then starting our planning journey with you, and finally having you with us on our Wedding Day, you consistently reassured us that all will be fine. You gave us so much information that helped us to make decisions that by being in a different country, without you, would have been impossible. We were given hints of your immense expertise when discussing our thoughts and ideas with you to only be followed by your previous wedding’s final mood boards, images or little details in our inbox. The level of communication we had with you throughout our planning journey was something we could never have imagined. With WhatsApp and email being our two main sources of communication, responses were always instantaneous, and concerns or queries were never missed.
Chiara, you exceeded everything we could have ever dreamed of. We are so grateful to you for all you did for us, and we wish you all the best in the future. If the dictionary needs a definition of wedding planner, then perhaps they can type your name or input this photo.

Planning a wedding can be daunting, planning a wedding in another country is madness. At least, that was the consensus from everyone when I told them that was my plan, lol.
Enter Chiara, we meet through an introduction from a highly successful professional in the business. It was “Yes” this is my planner from the first conversation. Chiara was there for every single question or concern I had, even after hours! This job is very personable for her and you can tell. She makes you feel like you are the only bride in the world and your happiness is her top priority.

Chiara made our wedding day in Vatican City a day we will always cherish. Miracle worker is a more appropriate title for Chiara than wedding planner. If an issue occurred, Chiara dealt with it.
Planning a wedding at home is stressful enough, but planning one halfway across the world seemed downright impossible.
